This fundraising project is part of the movement of the Holy Spirit, which, for several decades now, has sought to gather various stakeholders globally to reach the French-speaking regions of Canada, currently one of the largest unreached mission fields in the world. Through the initiative, among others, of the Francophone Ministry of the Fellowship, the Association des Églises Baptistes du Québec, and Mission Québec, La Cité Mascouche Church is experiencing unprecedented growth!
In the planning of this expansion project, an incredible opportunity has arisen before the congregation of La Cité: a partnership with municipal authorities who would like to participate in this project to allow citizens and organizations in the region to benefit from the infrastructure. Once again, the Church sees in this opening a nod from the Holy Spirit, which presents a wonderful opportunity to deepen the work and community involvement efforts of the congregation in its region, even though the Quebec context generally remains reluctant to any connection with religious matters!
In this regard, the leaders of La Cité, in collaboration with the church members’ assembly, are embarking on a search for financial partners who will help make history! To achieve an initial goal of $1,000,000 to contribute to the construction of a multifunctional hall capable of accommodating 1,000 people, they are presenting the opportunity to contribute to the establishment of each seat at a cost of $1,000. They are therefore prayerfully seeking 1,000 commitments of $1,000 to reach the $1,000,000 goal. $1,000 x $1,000 = $1,000,000.
